February: First edition of the "Third Millennium Bulletin" issued.

20th - 27th February: Visit by five members of the World Scout Bureau to the Jamobree camp site in Sattahip [ pictures ].

2nd - 8th January: The 2nd Pre-Jamboree was held at Vajiravudh Scout Camp, Chonburi Province, Thailand. Boys and girls aged between 14-18 years old were invited to join in this Pre-Jamboree test which demonstrated some of the activities of the 20th World Scout Jamboree. For example: Our Heritage, City of Science and Technology and Health [ pictures ].

1999

1st - 2nd September: National Seminar for the preparation of the World Scout Jamboree. The seminar was attended by Mrs. Jocelyne Gendrin and Mr. Jean-Luc Bertrand.

25th August: Fourth letter sent out to Mailing List.

16th August: Third letter sent out to Mailing List.

30th July: A Progress Report of the Preparation for the 20th World Scout Jamboree was presented at the 35th World Scout Conference, Durban, South Africa.

1st July: National Scout Day in Thailand. Second letter sent out to Mailing List.

25th June: We have just received a draft schedule of the preparation for the 20th WSJ's Infrastructure.

17th June: The Office of the 20th World Scout Jamboree officially opened its door to the public. The head is Mr. Wayu Bhayakan, a well known professional Scout.
